Supported system / requirements:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is required on your system. To download, please visit the Microsoft update website.
  • As a result, all operating systems supporting this version of the .NET framework, will run Darts Competition Professional 2.2 with SP1.
  • Minimum screen resolution 800X600
  • Sound card and speakers to get audio effects during the game
  • A working Internet connection if you want to upload your statistics to MyDartsChallenge.com

Features:

Menu Screen:

  • New game

Options Screen:

General tab:

  • Choose the default number of legs, sets and matchlength. Each time you start a new game - these options are filled in automatically. Default = 3 legs, 3 sets, 501)
  • Specify the default player names (default = Player1 and Player2)

Sounds tab:

  • You can specify different sounds for events in the program. Only .WAV files are supported.

Connections tab:

  • Specify the default username and password of a registered user at MyDartsChallenge.com. This account will be used to validate the upload.
  • Specify if the 'Upload' functionality should be switched on or not (Default: On).

Screen 1:

  • Choose number of legs per set (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) - taken from Options - but can be changed here.
  • Choose number of sets per match (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) - taken from Options - but can be changed here..
  • Choose match length (301, 501, 701 or any custom number) - taken from Options - but can be changed here.
  • Play with two players or two teams - taken from Options - but can be changed here.
  • Tooltips are available to guide you through the application

Screen 2:

  • Enter your score using the 'Enter'-button.
  • The fields only allow numeric fields (max 3).
  • Once your remaining score is 179 or less, the program tells you what finish is possible (or not). The finishes provided are taken from the PDC WorldDarts site.
  • Specify '1 dart' to enter the score of a single dart. A small box is available to keep you posted on the total score (cumulating the 3 darts). The checkout information is updated everytime a single dart score is entered.
  • Program keeps track of:
    • Leg Statistics:
    • Single dart average
    • Three dart average
    • Total number of darts in leg
    • Highest score in leg
    • Match Statistics
  • Total number of scores of 100 per match
  • Total number of scores between 100 and 140 per match
  • Total number of scores of 140 per match
  • Total number of scores between 140 and 180 per match
  • Total number of scores of 180 per match
  • Highest finish per match
  • 1 Dart average per match
  • 3 Dart average per match
  • When you score 0, 100, 140 or 180, a well-known sound is audible (you can change the default sounds through the Options menu).
  • Tooltips are available to guide you through the application

Screen 3:

  • Provides you with information on:
  • Total number of scores of 100 per match
  • Total number of scores between 100 and 140 per match
  • Total number of scores of 140 per match
  • Total number of scores between 140 and 180 per match
  • Total number of scores of 180 per match
  • Highest finish per match
  • 1 Dart average per match
  • 3 Dart average per match
  • If on the Options / Connections tab the switch is turned on, a button is available to upload your statistics.
  • Tooltips are available to guide you through the application

Upload

  • Specify the registered e-mail address of player 1 or player 2 and click the upload button.
  • If the user-account and password is not provided through the Options menu, you can specify the username and password of a registered user at MyDartsChallenge here. Click 'Save' to save the details.
  • The following information is uploaded:
  • Highest finish per match
  • 1 Dart average per match
  • 3 Dart average per match
  • Time and Date
